Cal Rotaract

 ROTARACT

Sponsored by international service organization Rotary International, Rotaract is a service club for young men and women ages 18-30.

Modeled after the goals and standards of Rotary, Rotaract brings together college students and young business professionals for humanitarian service, networking, building goodwill and promoting peace around the world. As one of the fastest-growing Rotary programs, Rotaract has a strong international presence and includes more than 8,400 Rotaract clubs in 170 countries.

Each Rotaract club is sponsored by a local Rotary club, and is generally either university- or community-based. Each chapter has its own unique personality, sometimes with special emphases. Like Rotary, Rotaract clubs meet on a regular basis, and are nonpolitical, nonreligious, and welcome anyone interested in joining.

 CAL ROTARACT

Chartered in 2000, our UC Berkeley Rotaract chapter is one out of eight Rotaract clubs in Rotaract District 5160 (link to 5160 website). As a university-based club, Cal Rotaract consists mostly of undergraduate and graduate students. The club is an excellent forum for service, professional development and fellowship!
